First Altered World Championship held in Paris, France
32 players invited through World Championship Qualifiers and Last Chance Qualifiers.
Format:
- Conquest: Best-of 3 matches. Each player brings 3 decks. 1 Deck is banned by opponent, then first player to win with both of their remaining decks wins the match.
- Group-Stage: 8 groups of 4 players playing round-robin, First 2 players of each group advance to playoffs.
- Playoffs: Double-elimination bracket
